Answer

Google requires that you connect securly with your own domain SSL key rather than the shared server ssl key.
If and when you have your own SSL key you must login to the cart admin in a secure connection using https://www.yourdomain.com/login.php

FYI please note that google checkout will only pass the product price. No shipping, tax or promo code info. Google checkout will not pass back to your cart any confirmation of the transaction. We advise that you use the google checkout with products that include shipping, tax other fees within the total product price.
